Home screen and lock screen widgets

Add Arelo widgets to see your next arrival without opening the app.

Adding a widget

  1. Long-press your home screen or lock screen until it enters edit mode.
  2. Tap the + button in the corner.
  3. Search for Arelo.
  4. Choose a widget size and tap Add Widget.
  5. Long-press the placed widget and tap Edit Widget to select which stop and route to display.

If no stop is configured, the widget defaults to your first two favorites.

Refresh rate

Widgets refresh every 5 minutes. iOS controls the exact timing. During low battery or low usage periods, updates may be less frequent. Opening the Arelo app triggers an immediate widget refresh.

Language

Widgets respect your language setting. If you switch the app to Spanish in Settings, the widget updates to match. No restart required.
